Conference objectives

- Survey of regional academic output in the fields of arts and literature;

- Reinforcement of active research in a region far from the dominant Brazilian and European centres;

- Encouragement of knowledge circulation originating from the region of the Guiana Shield;

- Reinforcement of relations and research cooperation between the Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP), the State University of Amapá (UEAP), the Federal Institute of Amapá (FIPA), the University of French Guiana (UG), Anton de Kom University (AdeKUS) and the University of the West Indies (UWI).
